The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Villanueva del Río Segura, José Luis López Ayala, this morning visited the new Socio-Cultural Center of the town.
This work was funded by the Government of Spain through the Local Investment Fund with an amount of 347,478 euros and has created 11 jobs.
The work has involved the construction of a Multipurpose Center, both social, and cultural and leisure activities.
The plant building is unique, with room for meetings and events of various kinds, both theater performances, such as lectures, symposia, courses, etc..
It also has units for warehouse, office, service office, car dealer and toilets.
The total constructed area is 400 square meters.
The building has a facade for a new urbanized and landscaped plaza will also serve to outdoor activities.
González Tovar has also reported that the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability to be invested in 2010, will involve a further economic boost for the city of 236,323 euros.
