The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, opened this afternoon the International Seminar Ricote Valley, which covers the first Edict of Expulsion of the Moors, which are true 400 years, and held at the Centro Cultural Infanta Cristina de Villanueva del Segura.
In the photo, along with Garcia, the mayor of Villanueva del Segura, José Luis López Ayala, and the official historian of the town, Fernando Rodríguez Soler.
The seminar is a monograph on the first Edict of Expulsion of the Moriscos, which took place in 1609 and that it is now 400 years.
In this regard, is to show all attendees the international and national context that surrounded this event, while deepening the physical features of the Ricote Valley, its landscapes, its climate and traditions.
