The event will take place tomorrow and Friday in Villanueva del Río Segura.
Cruz said that "in the various seminars and conferences in recent years has organized the consortium, has sought to highlight the enormous wealth that lies in the Valle de Ricote, either through highlighting their scenic value, environmental, cultural or, as in this case, their historical values. "
The seminar continues the tradition of international conferences that the Consortium has been organized since 2002.
This year's theme will be a monograph on the first Edict of Expulsion of the Moors, which was now some 400 years.
During the course of the seminar will be raising awareness of national and international circumstances that led to the expulsion, and the consequences it had in the Ricote Valley.
Apart from lectures during the seminar will be a panel discussion and a symposium in which participating teachers can delve deeper into the issues and answer any questions you raise the audience.
Among teachers, notes Bernard Vincent, director of studies at the School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences of Paris and Professor of Modern History of Spain at the University of Paris, and other University of Murcia and the Open University of Catalonia and José María Perceval.
As a complementary activity, it will show the film 'Geography Moorish', one of the five films that make up the project 'Expelled', by Professor Perceval.
