The regional government has given its approval to the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the Municipality of Villanueva del Río Segura to remodel the building that will house the residence of dependents with intellectual disabilities in this county.
The Ministry will provide 380,000 euros and 199,360 euros City Council works to address the adequacy of this property, which has capacity for 39 people in a situation of dependence and severe intellectual disabilities.
The building subject of renovation work in 2004 was ceded to the Municipality of Villanueva del Río Segura by the Board of Trustees of Santa Isabel.
The overall Community contribution for this project amounts to one million euros, divided into several installments.
