The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, met today with the mayor of Villanueva del Río Segura, José Luis López Ayala.
At the meeting, they agreed to incorporate the town to SIVMURCIA, the tool that provides the geographic location of the buildings in the region, and its basic characteristics, in terms of use, occupation or age.
The Minister Francisco Barnabas stressed the usefulness of this website, which have already joined eight other municipalities in the region, through the signing of a cooperation agreement.
The mayor of Villanueva del Río Segura also proposed several infrastructure such as access round to boost their municipality, since the exit of the motorway is the natural entrance to the Valley of Ricote, and a new bridge over the River Segura.
It is proposed that the counselor Francisco Barnabas undertook to examine "with the greatest possible interest" towards their future implementation.
