Today has taken place in Villanueva del Río Segura closing and awards ceremony for the workshop Caregiver for the Elderly and the Course of Care and Psychosocial Support Dependent People Home, both organized by the Department of Social Services Town Council and funded by Solidarity.
Workshop Elderly Caregiver has lasted 10 hours being imparted Monday and Wednesday from 17.00 to 18.30 in the Study Room of the Library, and the Course of Care and Psychosocial Support of Dependent People the residence which has lasted 40 hours every day in the morning from 9:30 to 13:30 pm, except Friday.
The result of both has been excellent, the twenty students who have had the opportunity to attend reviewers unanimously, they have learned how much practical enough to apply theoretical concepts personally and thereby to put them into practice with people requiring care.
This also has had the necessary materials projectors, spaces, furniture ... etc that the City has made available to make learning more efficient and environment where classes are developed is suitable for making the stay in the same.
The coordination provided by City staff has provided great support to achieve the objectives.
The expert faculty in psychology has demonstrated its skill in the topics, knowing arrive excellently to 20 students, reviewers and score the same, so outstanding.
