Yesterday April 11th the prize drawing contest organized by municipalities in the Ricote Valley to commemorate the "fourth centenary of the expulsion and the Return of Moriscos Ricote Valley" was performed within the program of activities they are celebrating during this commemorative year.
The aim of this competition was socializing among students of municipal schools in the Valley, the importance of such an influential past, thus reinforcing the identity and the enhancement of the inherited estate.
In addition to the above competition have been conducted talks in schools to promote knowledge of its history, culture, customs and traditions.
The event was attended by the mayors of the different municipalities of Valle, Councillors, the professor of the faculty of letters at the University of Murcia José Javier Ruiz, along with members of Real Murcia which were responsible for presenting the awards to the winners.
