The Director General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, José Antonio Blasco, visited the town of Villanueva del Río Segura to know the current status of the projects that the Community has been done in the last four years under Plan Works and Services and those that are in progress, and the improvement and ornamentation Roundabout The Algezón.
This last work has a budget of 60,771 euros execution, of which 54,694 euros related to a grant from the Ministry of the Presidency, through the Directorate General, and for the Works and Services Plan 2011.
The visit also served to hold a meeting with the government team, with the mayor at the head, Jose Luis Lopez, as well as municipal technicians to analyze the needs of the locality and consider new projects.
Over recent years, have had regional financing activities and improvement works projects and urban renewal master street Peñaranda, Count of Floridablanca, sporting spaces Carmen district, or the expansion and management of the municipal library .
The total grant exceeded 441,000 euros.
Under annual cooperation funds, funds of current and local funding, the City Council of Villanueva del Río Segura also ordered in the last four years of funds amounting to 579,361 euros.
