The director general for the Promotion of Culture and the Book, Francisco Giménez, opened yesterday with the mayor of Villanueva del Segura, Jose Luis Lopez, the town library.

The work has had a cost of 48,235 euros, of which 8,235 have been subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The library has a computer with Internet consultation and six seats for reading.

On the second floor there is a Hall of Free Internet Access.
