Lovers of nature and the customs have a date in the Ricote Valley.
On Saturday December 11 opens the section of track that links Ojós, Ulea and Villanueva and to celebrate we propose a walk or a bike length of 3.3 km along the river Segura, through the heart of this region .
To walk this path you do not need a great fit, just want to have fun in an unfamiliar environment and fascinating.
On Saturday 11 we found in eyes, on the Segura River Avenue, next to the bridge, where we can leave the car to begin our tour.
The appointment is at 12:00 and there, to all registered handed us a bag of supplies.
We begin the journey towards Ulea.
We stop at the place of the "Salto de la Novia", to admire the view from one of the narrowing of the valley, and relive the scene of one of the legends that originate in the Ricote Valley.
Then come to the Wheel of Ulea Happy Villar and from there we will take again the path along the river, where we can relax, take pictures, see dams, canals, dams ... The road is dotted with places to see wildlife, fishing stations, etc.
Our trail ends at Villanueva del Segura, in the place of Golgo, but not our trip, and then begins a new version of the show, the gastronomic pubs and restaurants Ulea Villanueva and we will offer a tasting good do, celebrating the 1 st Road Cap, for a price of 2 € per cover and drink.
