The Full Council of Villanueva del Río Segura, in a meeting held on June 23, 2010, by unanimous vote of all members present, in view of the publication of Royal Decree-Law 8 / 2010, which among other measures ordering an reducing the salaries of public employees, sample test of austerity, and in line with the proposal by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, approved to carry out the following reduction of the salaries of corporate staff.

Remuneration Mr. Mayor, with effect from 1.6.1910, suffer a reduction of 7%.

Remuneration and allowances of other council members and mayor, headman, with effect from 1.6.1910, suffer a reduction of 5%.
