This past Monday, 2 December the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the Municipality of Villanueva del Río Segura launched in collaboration with BDA (Association of Young Farmers) A COURSE OF PRUNING FRUIT TREES.
The course will last 20 hours (15 teaching practices, and 5) and is performed in the afternoon.
The attendance of students at the same has been successful completing the 25 available seats in that course, of which 90% of them have been covered by pupils aged between 25 and 45 years, which gives us an idea of ​​the change that is conducting agriculture in recent years as more and more young people are those who see in her future employment and the City Council is betting on the formation of these new young farmers.
This training course will help students refine pruning techniques to improve the conservation and maintenance of fruit trees, especially new varieties of peach and apricot.
